J.J. Corry The Sonas Bottling Note

Your favourite online spirits retailer (us, of course) teamed up with Irish whiskey bonders Chapel Gate to create a Master of Malt exclusive whiskey! Taking inspiration from the tranquillity of the Emerald Isle, J.J. Corry The Sonas is named after the Gaelic word for 'Happiness'. The whiskey itself is a blend of particularly creamy Irish single malt and brilliantly buttery Irish single grain, brought down from cask strength to a more approachable 50% ABV. Just the ticket for sipping with friends on a relaxed evening.

J.J. Corry The Sonas Reviews

Excellent whisky. So smooth. Keep an eye on this distillery folks, they're gonna be big!

Absolutely delightful. Bought this as a fathers day present for my grandad but we decided to open it early. He's always been a fan of Irish Whiskeys and the reviews of this seemed very good. So I took the plunge and bought it. Conclusion = Worth every penny. So incredibly smooth. He loved it and have to admit I did too. Think I'll buy another bottle before they all run out!

My first visit to this brand

Really impressed. This was my first J.J. Corry and I'm intrigued to try the rest of the collection. Love the idea of a small producer taking time to deliver something a bit different. Delicious warm finish.

Stunning -juicy and rich, nice warm finish. A brand to watch for me, certainly.

This is a really stunning dram, juicy and rich, the mouth is filled with fruit and it has a great warm finished. I've been hearing a lot of hype about their blends recently - finally got to try the Gael at a friend's last week and I really was impressed so decided to treat myself to this one. I'll definitely be keeping a closer eye on these guys
