12 year old Irish single malt whiskey, produced for the Jack Ryan whiskey brand, which was revived in 2013 to celebrate the 100th birthday of Ryan's Beggars Bush pub in Dublin. This is a 12 year old single malt, matured in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled without chill-filtration at 46% ABV.

A recent arrival here in Nova Scotia. A fine Irish whiskey very smooth, very drinkable. Does remind me of another Irish favourite - Yellow Spot.

Daily sipper
The smoothest most approachable Irish Whiskey I have tasted, in fact after a single taste my wife has begun to join me in appreciating this fine whiskey.

Good
Very similar to Yellow spot - perhaps the spirit is from middleton?
Leads with peaches, apricots & tropical fruit all over your mouth - rich with bourbon oak. Immediately very attractive, however the fruit quickly drops off & the oak remains somewhat unbalanced & almost tannic. Until you have another sip and that fantastic apricot again takes over.
A million miles from anything Scottish. Definitely worth trying.

Gorgeous
I really enjoyed this. Never heard of Jack Ryan before but glad I tried some. Reminded me of Glengoyne 10.
IMO. It’s very sweet and smooth. The taste is full of vanilla and treacle syrup. I almost get a popcorn taste coming through as with Glengoyne 10 but this is a far superior whisky.
Lovely and enjoyable.
P.s no peat or smoke with this one.

Excellent Single Malt Whiskey
Recently returned from a trip to Ireland and was recommended this whiskey at two separate locations. It was excellent as an after dinner drink, neat.

Smooth
Great aroma and taste with just the right bite to enjoy a nice nightcap. I recommend adding 3 drops of water to awaken the tastes.
