Single cask single grain from the ever-dependable Invergordon distillery. This was distilled in 1988 and left to mature in a barrel until 2017, when Wemyss came along to bottle it up. 234 bottles were produced and given the name Strawberry Fondant Icing, as a suggestion of its flavour profile.
Buttered crumpets, mango, treacle, subtle earthy aromas.
Green apple, toffee, a touch of rhubarb crumble.
Brown sugar, pear, blueberry and blackcurrant jam.
