An indie Invergordon! This single grain Scotch whisky from Invergordon was aged in a bourbon barrel for 30 years exactly. No, really - it was distilled on 5th October 1987 and bottled on 5th October 2017! Released as part of the Càrn Mòr Celebration of the Cask range, only 180 bottles were produced.
Fresh orange and vanilla pod, joined by hints of old-fashioned cola cubes and fragrant oak.
Juicy apricot and apple, followed by icing sugar and jam doughnuts.
A prickle of cardamom appears right on the finish - though it remains sweet throughout.
