Inchgower 15 Year Old 2009 (cask 803610) - Berry Bros. & Rudd
A cracking Speyside single malt from Inchgower, distilled in 2009 and drawn from a single hogshead (#803610) after 15 years. Bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd at a robust 55.5% ABV, non-chill-filtered and brimming with character.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttery toffee and honeyed cereal mingle with dried apricots, sultanas, and a delicate coastal edge. A little cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate
Rich layers of golden syrup, stewed orchard fruits, and vanilla fudge are joined by toasted almonds and a sprinkling of sea salt. There’s a lively peppery spice at full strength.
Finish
Medium to long, with warming oak spice, soft fruit sweetness, and a clean malty echo.
