Hailing from an undisclosed Islay distillery, this whisky matured in a combo of sherry and fortified wine casks for a profile layered with peat smoke, leather, and sweet, woody spice.
Coastal tar and peat smoke join layers of dried seaweed, with vanilla honey and warming baking spices in tow.
Sweet peat smoke opens the way for peppery warmth and syrupy sweetness, with baked apple, tobacco leaf, and leathery oak.
Drying ash, a touch of capsicum, sweet, smoked honey, and oaken vanilla.
