Winner of 1 awardReleased for the Travel Retail market, Voyage of the Raven is a rather dramatically-named Highland Park single malt that has been matured in a rather high proportion of first-fill Sherry seasoned casks. The aforementioned dramatic name comes from the reverence that ravens received from Vikings of old.

It's quite a gentle drink compared to most. A nice, lingering sweetness aftwards with plenty of soft smoke and peat prior to that. For me it's the perfect balance. Flavours bold enough to detect and yet subtle enough to not taste watery at all. A subtly sweet delight.
Voyage Of Raven has very smoky flavor. Maybe even a bit too much. It's not bad, but certainly different than others. It needs a few drops of water to open. I'm not sure will I buy this one again. If you like other Highland Park whiskies, you might like this one too. But if you are a fan of round and smooth whiskies, this is not for you.
Smooth cherry flavor. Nice easy whisky for a good price!
