Highland Park Sigurd (Warrior Series)

Highland Park Sigurd Bottling Note

Sigurd is a travel retail release from Highland Park's Warrior Series, and is named after a legendary hero of Norse mythology, who was given fragments of a broken sword by his dying father. The single malt Scotch whisky itself is made with a high proportion of European oak casks, resulting in oodles of dried fruit, peppery spice and warming cinnamon alongside that fantastic, familiar Highland Park smoke.

Highland Park Sigurd (Warrior Series) Reviews

unremarkable

Had a sample of this. Pretty nice, but not remarkable. Astonishing what prices HP can command.

Incomplete

I don't trust a whiskey that does't tell you how old it is

Pretty good dram. Worth the price if you get without VAT

Amazing dram. Not as good as the Thor or Loki but still very good. Buy while it lasts since they have stopped producing the Viking series.

Not worth the price at all !!

Boring , nothing special about this bottle.
I recommend you pay a bit more and go for the 25 years . It’s a blast !!

Enjoyed it very much

Dried fruit and cracked pepper. Subtle but deep.

Such a good whisky!

One of my favourites at this point. Nice and complex with hints of smoke and wood on the finish, some fruity note and lavender and a bit of caramel on the taste.
