28 year old single malt from Orkney's Highland Park distillery, independently bottled by Silver Seal for their Whisky is Class...ical range. It was distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2016 with a scene from Giuseppe Verdi's Aida opera taking place on the label. A release of 191 bottles.
Roasted vegetables drizzled with thyme honey and dusted with black pepper. A hint of fig and dried oak.
Becomes sweeter on the palate with menthol, orange, sawdust, heather and green olive.
Oily barley and a light waft of earthy smoke.
