Highland Park 26 Year Old - Forgotten Gems

Highland Park Forgotten Bottling Note

Feast your eyes on some well-matured single malt from the Highland Park Distillery on Orkney, independently bottled as part of the Forgotten Gems series! This expression was aged for an impressive 26 years in refill sherry hogsheads, and has been bottled up at 49.3% ABV, with just 84 bottles produced. The Forgotten Gems range is all about making sure the final drops of rare whisky stocks make their way to the tasting glasses of whisky fans, rather than being... Well, forgotten.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Brandied fruit, gingerbread, cigar box richness, fragrant hints of flaky pastry and comb honey.

Palate: Chocolatey at first, before hints of forest floor earthiness and cask char develop. Subtle lemon zest hints give it some pep.

Finish: Layers of delicate smoke with cinnamon, citrus and honey beneath.

Highland Park 26 Year Old - Forgotten Gems Reviews

Excellent

Love Highland park whisky. Thought I’d splash out on this and glad I did because it’s worth every penny. So much flavour yet still very smooth. This will be savoured!
