It's another batch of Highland Park 21 Year Old! This was released in November 2019, and was drawn from 26 casks. You'll find influence from a trio of cask types, with first-fill European oak sherry, bourbon and refill hogsheads all making their mark. The resulting spirit is full of toasty oak, spices and tropical fruit with that hallmark Highland Park smoke.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Fresh mango and pear, balanced by wisps of aromatic, subtly floral smoke.
Palate
Pineapple chunks, soft peat building to crushed spices and cut grass, a hint of sultana.
Finish
Cedar, smoke and lemon zest.
