Highland Park 16 Year Old - Sea of Orkney
This single malt from Highland Park was originally released as a Travel Retail exclusive. Matured in a combo of first-fill European oak sherry seasoned casks, refill casks, and American oak sherry seasoned casks, it boasts a balance of sweetness and spice, joined by floral peat smoke and rich cacao.
Tasting Note by The Producer
In a word, deep. Zesty warmth on the nose gives way to vanilla and nutmeg on the palate, with a soft smokiness from our Orkney heathered peat. The finish is sweet and nutty, with notes of crushed almonds and brown sugar.
