This is a sixteen year old Highland Park bottled by the Vintage Malt Whisky Company from cask number 1483.
Heathery peat with red fruit undertones arrives on the nose followed by a clean minerality on the palate with deeper notes of malt and wood smoke. The finish is long with notes of heathery peat, nutmeg and cinnamon.
