From the Artful Dodger independent bottling series comes a 10 year old Heaven Hill corn whiskey drawn from a Port pipe! This expression was distilled back in 2010, and was allowed a decade of maturation before being bottled up at cask strength - 59.3% ABV. Always intriguing to taste single cask bottlings from these hugely popular American distillers.
Damson jam, honeycomb and fragrant vanilla, joined by a good hint of spicy oak.
More red fruit, now plum and fig, with characteristic corn creaminess carrying it along.
Buttery, with a touch of cherry.

Not suppressing this sold out so quickly. I was just coming back to buy a second bottle. Looks like I’ll be saving the little I have left for a special occasion. Very nice cask strength from this distillery. Only bad thing is you only get 50cl.
