From the heart of Hunan, China, comes this small batch single malt aged in both bourbon and brandy casks. It’s uncoloured, non-chill filtered, and an example of modern Chinese whisky making a big noise on the world stage.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Hay bales, honey-drizzled granola, and grassy malt. There’s sweet rice, dried fruit, and a faint whiff of mango.
Palate
Bitter grains and tannins meet tropical fruit salad – lychee, mango, maybe even pineapple.
Finish
A little hop-like bitterness lingers with grain and wood.
