This is one of the best I've tasted (non peaty). Nose, palette, finish all there with distinction. It will make you remember it and then look for it again. Forget about 12 years old, just drink it and enjoy the experience.
One of the best whiskies i have tasted in the longest time in the 12yrs old category. Tastes older than 12 yrs old. A definite delight. Hope Glenturret continues with such lovely drams. More expensive but definitely worth it.
This is a real good whiskey, nose, palette finish, the lot. You're getting something slightly different, there is a distinct taste there and it's pleasant both in your mouth and finish. And the finish is warming and long.
Just cracked open a bottle following a wee nip while staying at Glencoe. What a dram. I’ve been beguiled by all manner of drams, wine cask, rum and the like, however after sipping this baby, I’m suddenly back in the land of masterful traditional dramage. A absolute stunner. Buy it. Drink it. Enjoy life.
I tried it after reading the reviews and the recommendation by the staff. Enjoyed it deeply and would recommend it.
