Salty, smokiness with an aftertaste of citrus warmth. Perfect in front of a warming fire. For this price, it's well worth it.
It's a lovely dram! Plenty going on, a great balance between the smoke, Christmas spices, caramel/vanilla and fruit notes and nothing offputting at all. Tried this as a sample and bought a bottle as a result.
Love a peaty dram. Glenturret is often overlooked unfortunately. But this is an expensive tasting dram for a very reasonable price.
