A single cask bottling from The Single Cask! Funny how that works, eh? Anyway, this one is a 10 year old Ruadh Maor, otherwise known as peated Glenturret single malt. After a decade of maturation, it was bottled at cask strength (an intense 62.3% ABV) with an outturn of only 129 bottles.
Wafts of burnt brown sugar and charred oak, alongside hints of sherried peels and shortbread.
Smoked paprika, mocha, toasted barley and red apple.
BBQ smokiness and meaty malt linger on the finish, with just a hint of caramel sweetness.
