Glenturret 34 Year Old 1977 (cask ref. #2) (Berry Bros. & Rudd)
Distilled at the Glenturret distillery in 1977, this bottling from Berry Brothers and Rudd has been aged for 34 years. Possibly a marriage of different casks, it was drawn from cask 'ref. #2'.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Dried grass and floral lavender, with figs and a hint of oak and leather.
Palate
Manuka honey, toffee apple and green grapes. Marmalade. Fenugreek.
Finish
Long, floral, slightly dry. More marmalade and a hint of grappa.
Overall
A complex, triumphant dram.
