A WM Cadenhead Small Batch bottling of 26 year old Glentauchers single malt, drawn from 3 bourbon hogsheads which were filled in 1990 and emptied in 2017. 420 bottles were produced (and come in a box celebrating Cadenhead's 175th anniversary!).
Robust oak, with hints of coffee bean and caramel in the background.
Fruitier on the palate - pomegranate, melon and green apple. Maintains the enjoyably oak-y elements from the nose.
Long, well spiced.
