Distilled in 1996 at Glentauchers, this was aged for 15 years before bottling for Duncan Taylor's NC2 range in 2011.
Nose: Grainy with notes of porridge, malt and hints of cider. Quite one-dimensional, all very easy-going stuff.
Palate: Cut hay, pepper, malt and toast. Some more of those porridge notes from the nose, hints of applewood, a little tea.
Finish: Simple, medium length. Some malt, some fruit, a little spice.
