Description
This 1998 vintage single malt from Glenrothes was bottled in 2014 – the first bottling made with Gordon Motion as the Glenrothes Malt Master.
This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos, just get in touch!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Very spicy and creamy with oodles of sweet vanilla, gingernut biscuits, golden syrup, hints of citrus and malt.
Palate
A creamy, malt-driven palate with sweet winter spices, particularly cinnamon. Rhubarb crumble with hot custard and hints of black pepper.
Finish
Good length with more vanilla and a suggestion of nutmeg on the tail.
