This single malt from Glenrothes matured for a generous 25 years, and now a total of just 63 bottles join the Forgotten Gems collection. A superb find from the indie bottler, which is exceptionally talented at unearthing lost treasures of the spirit variety.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fudgy sweetness, floral vanilla honey, and sweet candied orange are backed by biscuity malt and hints of creamy mocha.
Palate
Plenty of toffee, vanilla tablet, and buttery shortbread, join Malteasers and mellow toasted oak.
Finish
Waves of creamy barley and a crackle of peppery spice wrap things up.
