Released as a UK exclusive to celebrate Gordon & MacPhail’s 130th anniversary, this single cask Glenrothes was distilled in 2009 and matured for 16 years in a first-fill sherry hogshead. Just 302 bottles were drawn on 6 June 2025, presented at natural colour, without chill-filtration, and at a hearty cask strength of 55.5% ABV.
Rich fruitcake, stewed raspberries, warming cinnamon, and raisins and sugared pastry background notes.
Stewed apples and juicy raisins meld with demerara sugar sweetness. Hints of aniseed add a herbal lift beneath the sherried richness.
Long, full, and lingering with forest fruits and gentle spice.
