Description

Indie single cask Glenrothes, distilled in February 2007 and matured in a single refill hogshead cask for the next 15 years. Eventually, in March 2022 Douglas Laing bottled it up for the Old Particular Fanatical About Flavour series, with a release of 363 bottles at 48.4% ABV.

Nose

Underripe tangy kiwi, oak spice, and lemon peel.

Palate

Subtly mineral, with woody vanilla pod balanced by zingy apple.

Finish

Spiced orchard fruit alongside orange marmalade.
