Glenmorangie Elementa Bottling Note

Originally released for the Travel Retail market, The Elementa was crafted by Glenmorangie as a way of celebrating the art of wood finishing! As such, this 14 year old was initially matured in bourbon casks before being transferred to charred virgin oak for a finishing period. The result? A superbly honeyed, fruity, and gently spicy Highland single malt.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Nectarine, caramelised nuts, and spiced dark chocolate, with a good dollop of almond butter.

Palate: Generous helpings of runny honey, alongside home made berry jam, citrus curd, and spicy fudge.

Finish: A touch of oaky bitterness is balanced by yet more honey.

Glenmorangie The Elementa 14 Year Old Reviews

Sweet and spicy

Sweet but spicy - lots of ginger and cardamom, fragrant finish.
Something different that's for sure - but in a good way.
Definitely a very good single malt
