The chaps at Glenmorangie have long been experts at allowing their whisky to mature in interesting casks to impart a gamut of gorgeous notes to their flavour profile - and this expression is the perfect example. It's a rare bottling of Glenmorangie that was treated to a finishing period in casks that previously held claret wine (first grown claret casks from Pauillac, Bordeaux, to be specific).
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed info and/or photos just get in touch!
