Glenlossie 25 Year Old 1990 - Single Cask (Master of Malt)
A single cask bottling of single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenlossie distillery, matured in a refill Sherry cask for 25 years - from June 1990 to October 2015. This has been presented as part of our very own Master of Malt Single Cask Series, and we're very proud of this one! Also, it comes presented with a cool glass closure!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Battenberg, honey and Eccles cake. Raspberry, blueberry, lime and diced almond. Vegetal oakiness. Becomes very slightly smoky later on.
Palate
Quite dry and sweet Oloroso Sherry and Christmas pudding (with brandy butter) right away. Strawberries and extra thick double cream. Blood orange and marmalade develop.
Finish
Lingering raisin, vanilla, black pepper and red wine gums.
Overall
A gloriously generous Glenlossie.
