Single cask Glenlossie here, bottled by The Single Cask! Distilled in December 2008, it rested for 13 lucky years in a first-fill ex-Pedro Ximénez octave cask, which is around one-eighth of a butt, meaning the whisky gets a load more interaction with the wood. It was bottled up in February 2022 for the Family Series, with an outturn of just 64 bottles.
Polished oak, sherry-soaked raisins, maple syrup, milk chocolate, and blackberry jam.
Melted brown sugar, glacé cherry, butterscotch, and a kick of spicy oak.
Cinnamon, caramel, and lasting helpings of red fruit.
