Completely unpeated (unusual in the highlands), this Glengoyne is soft, fruity and very quaffable. A fine single malt!
Toffee apples, a little acacia honey, nectarine in syrup and spice, supported by toasted barley in the background.
Over-ripe grapes, honeyed with hints of vanilla, coconut milk and oak spice. Light touches of chocolate ice-cream.
Long, oily finish with lingering coffee notes.

I was given this as a gift, I normally go for an Islay over anything else but I was pleasantly surprised. It's really bright and fruity, long sweet, raisin finish. If you're a Highland fan I'd give it a go
I am enjoying this Whisky, but not as much as I thought I would. It seems to be lacking something, but I cannot put my finger on what................. saying that, it still gets 4 stars.
I have wanted to try something from the Glengoyne distillery for a while after it was recommended to me from a whisky aficionado mate of mine. The 12 is brilliant. So deliciously citrusy and smooth. Very eager to browse the distillery catalogue now.
This is a really nice and tasty scotch with a very nice toffee and slightly smoky finish . Lots of fruit in the nose and taste and just an altogether quality whisky.Natural colour and bottled at 43% for a good mouthfeel. Recommended.
This is one of my favourite malts. It is evident that the time and effort used in the making of this whisky is well worth it. I thoroughly enjoy this every time I drink it.
