Completely unpeated (unusual in the highlands), this Glengoyne is soft, fruity and very quaffable. A fine single malt!
Toffee apples, a little acacia honey, nectarine in syrup and spice, supported by toasted barley in the background.
Over-ripe grapes, honeyed with hints of vanilla, coconut milk and oak spice. Light touches of chocolate ice-cream.
Long, oily finish with lingering coffee notes.

Good malt for beginners low complexity with spicy medium finish Decent value and quality for a 12 YO
Very good
Very nice flavours, and an easy drinker. Not so much a fan of the long lingering aftertaste however
Quite possibly the best single malt you will find at this price point. This 12 year old has so much going for it, it's rich, complex, sweet and spicy with a medium length finish all for $40 US.
Rough and harsh without water. With a splash, notes of lemon, clover honey, smooth and a buttery finish.
