Single Malt
Glengoyne
Scotland

A 19 year old from Glengoyne, matured in a refill sherry hogshead and bottled at cask strength.
The nose is quite full and rich. There are notes of winter spice and white pepper, a touch of leather and creosote, notes of ash and Bramley apples. Notes of Madeira and Rocha pear. There are hints of cut herbs with a dash of salt. The palate is full and punchy. There are notes of Seville marmalade, pastries, ground almonds and vanilla fudge. Hints of chewy oak develop with a touch of acidity. The finish is long and woody with marzipan notes.
