Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vanilla pod, orange zest and rock cakes.

Palate: Peppery at first, before waves of warming sherry and melted butter temper the spice.

Just does not taste much except alcoholic

Not impressed by the taste, alsmost tastes a bit harsh. Can't find anywhere how old the whisky is which makes it suspicious to me, not enough taste, just strong, not for me.

Battenberg cake in a dram

This was an okay whiskey. It didn’t stand out as amazing. It reminded me of battenberg cake on the nose and the palate.

It is a pleasurable experience to drink Glenfiddich.

We have enjoyed this whiskey for several years as we travelled to see our daughter and her children.

Probably the best Single Malt I have ever tasted.

I tried this, and believe me I am mostly a blended Scotch man, although due to current trends I have a fair share of single malts now that msy sons and nephews are all grown up enough to drink and they love single malts.
I tried this at the wedding of my wife's nephew last week and it was splendid, it really was.
I came here looking for it and am getting myself two bottles soon.
I thought there was a hint of honey too, and it tasted even better because of the Company probably.
