Glenfiddich
Scotland
Single Malt

The Glenfiddich 25 Year Old Rare Oak was originally released for the Travel Retail market. It's drawn from a mixture of Spanish sherry butts and American bourbon barrels, resulting in a rich, complex flavour profile. Lively sherried spice and juicy raisin notes blend well with the chewy vanilla touches - a classic combination, and with good reason.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Green apple drenched in caramel and butter, blackberry leaf (and actual blackberries, too!), lacquered oak and well-aged rum.
Succulent raisins and sultanas with a drizzle of Curaçao liqueur. Hot mulled wine, gingerbread biscuits and Honey-Nut Cornflakes.
Oily pine, nutmeg and a squeeze of citrus.

Don't know,it still sits tempting me to open it.do I or don't I will it go up in price. ???
Big, bold and old. Huge layers of deep complex spice, some fruit but it's a bit overwhelmed. Finish goes on and on. Don't think I'd pay £600 though.
