Winner of 7 awardsThis single malt from Glenfiddich was aged for 14 years before a finish in new American and Spanish oak casks. They say the American oak adds spice, vanilla, and fruit, and the Spanish oak brings elegant fruit, spice, and complexity.

It's very decent. Not an essential re buy though.
I have bought 3 bottles and enjoyed them immensely. Sorry to see we can no longer buy. :(
Sandlewood and caramel. I miss you Fiddy rich oak. Please cometh again
I had the Glenfiddich XX , I liked it ,i just got a bottle of Glenfiddich 14 like it a lot , first taste i got in my mouth is the oak then fruity , smooth good aftertaste, if they keep producing each batch must be in new oak cask each times...a must.
Don't get me wrong I love the 15 year old Solera, I even prefer it to the almost too subtle 18 year Small Batch release, but this 14 year is a beast unto it's own. A bit less complex than the 15 year, but I have had 3 bottles of this and it's consistent smooth and delicious. Also a great offering for newbies or non scotch drinkers! 4.5/5
