“This was the first dram in my Scotch Whisky Advent Calendar and I am so pleased. What a great way to start. So many aromas, so many flavors, and you'd never know it is almost 60% ABV. Just wonderful! I'm asking Santa for some of this and a bottle of 105.”

Description
Bottled for Drinks by the Dram and featuring in their fantastic 2016 Scotch Whisky Advent Calendar, this single cask Speyside malt was bottled at a hearty natural cask strength of 59.9% abv! Distilled in 2009, it was bottled in August 2016.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Brown sugar, damson, tomatoes on the vine and hot cross buns with a very generous helping of dried fruit in the dough. A little fragrant barley and varnished oak in support.
Palate
Christmas cake, honey-nut cereal (with milk!) and ginger snaps. Some grilled banana and stroopwafel notes later on, followed by yet more raisins and currants.
Finish
Long and rich with layers of honey and ginger. Apples appear much later on the finish.
