Another release from the Glenfarclas Premium Edition range, a series more commonly found on mainland Europe - though some bottles have made their way to our shores! This expression was distilled in 1997 and left to age in Oloroso sherry casks (as is the fate of many Glenfarclas whiskies), then bottled in 2018 at 46% ABV.

Nose
Biscotti, melted chocolate and some toasty oak warmth.
Palate
Christmas cake, hazelnut spread, dates and clove.
Finish
more clove, now paired with ginger and green apple.
