Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Dense sherry, rum-soaked raisin, dark chocolate and those yummy herbaceous mint notes the appear in old Glenfarclas.

Palate More sherry! More chocolate! Mature oak and Christmas cake.

Finish Freshly ground coffee, jammy fruit, clean malt and clove.

Whisky Show 2017, Budapest - Glenfarclas-tasting surprise!
On 13-14.10.2017, Budapest held its 8th Whisky Show where I had the opportunity to participate in a tasting where the surprise 'guest' was this great whisky from '87 and it was a great pleasure to have a drop from this manna! Highly recommended for sherry cask-fans, for those who love deep and rich tastes and searching for the cask-strength's 'boom'-feeling.
