A 1961 vintage Glenfarclas single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a single Sherry hogshead until November 2014. This has been presented as part of their Family Cask Spring 2015 Release, with only 166 bottles produced.
Huge Sherry cask influence here - plenty of rich, sweet raisin and oak-y spice.
The theme continues here - big dried fruit sweetness, balancing the oak.
