A special bottling of Glenfarclas single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 12 years before being bottled at cask strength from those Drinks by the Dram folks. Yummy Speyside single malt at a punchy strength - we love it.
Rum-soaked raisins and good old sherry, with hints of buttered crumpet and malt loaf underneath.
Brioche, fried banana, more raisins and chocolate. A hint of rancio, perhaps...
Nutella, white pepper, clove and damson jam.
Incredibly good. Strong and with a wide range impressions that stay on the tongue. Clear signs of Sherry and a mild peaty tone in the nose. One of my absolute favourites.
Excellent highland malt
already reviewed it 5 stars below , but now ive enjoyed enough of it to really get to know it . Definitely a whisky to slow things down and take your time with . With time it just gets better and better . Love it so much I bought a 2nd bottle. Get it while you can . I
LOVE IT ! I do like Glenfarclas 12 yr old , but always felt it could use more "oomph" . This bottling provides that oomph . A big , rich , warming hit of sherry . Needs time in the glass to settle down but when it does it's lovely
