A delicious, richly sherried Glenfarclas aged for 17 years and launched for the travel retail market. Loads of character and depth, just what we've come to expect from the distillery.

Complex and sophisticated, notes of buttery toffee, malt sherried peels, dates and even a hint of peat!
Full-bodied and rich, it fills and coats the palate with warming nutmeg, sherried fruits, cinnamon and mixed peels.
Long, spicy and sweet with just a hint of smoke on the tail.

Complex sweet candy with mouth coating oilyness and some delicious spice. No smoke at all with this and a nice med/ long enjoyable finish. 89/100
Like a number of the reviewers below, I liked it but was slightly underwhelmed for the price and the age. I would have expected more complexity, different notes, a nicer aftertaste. You know, the stuff you come to expect when paying over $100 for a bottle. A solid 4 star.
Rich in flavour, not much in the way of smoke, sweet occasionally spicy just lacks a little bit of complexity but still remarkable.
I'm not a huge fan of sherried scotches, and for me this strikes the right balance of just enough sherry influence to add that sweetness and creaminess, but not so much as to be overbearing. There's some good depth of other stuff too (read the tasting note above, it pretty much nails it) if you let it breathe a bit. Extraordinary in its simplicity.
Has a nice smooth feel but the body is definitely unique in that I don't love the after flavor
