Glendullan 19yo TBWC Bottling Note

It's the second batch of Glendullan single malt that has been independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! This one was aged for 19 years before those Boutique-y folks got their mitts on it and bottled it up at 47.8% ABV. Still not quite sure what's going on with the whole Space Olympics scene on the label, but that does not stop it from being delightful.

Batch 2 is a release of 172 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Orange sherbet, brown sugar and oaky vanilla bring a refined sweetness to hints of cut grass and dry barley. A subtle whiff of earthy smoke lingers underneath.

Palate: Fresh orchard fruit, blackcurrants and hints of sharp orange zest lead. Among savoury oak there’s a little hint of anise and liquorice and a thick drizzle of Manuka honey.

Finish: In a long and succulent finish there’s a flicker of white pepper spice.

Overall: Rewarding and well-balanced with plenty of good distillery character.
