Back in December 1994, this GlenDronach whisky was distilled and left to rest in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon. 24 years late, in 1993, the cask was cracked open and the whisky was bottled at cask strength for GlenDronach's 17th batch of single cask releases. 623 bottles were produced.
This Scotch was amazing. Had it at my favorite bar in San Diego. The bar was closing and the guys were only charging my friend and I 13 US dollars a dram which they could easily have charged double or more. Will always be proud to say we finished off # 491/632 . You are getting exactly what you're paying for.
