The GlenDronach 13 Year Old 2004 (cask 3342)
The only release from the 16th batch of GlenDronach single cask bottlings which wasn't aged in a sherry cask - instead, this one matured in a single Port pipe for 13 years! Distilled in May 2004 and bottled in 2017 with an outturn of 643 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
The finesse of dark chocolate, sweet maraschino cherries and orange-laced sandalwood on a base of toasted angelica.
Palate
Sip ripe bramble, Seville orange and baked cherry cake carried by the finest dark chocolate. Savour lingering hints of roast chestnut, chocolate orange and sweet cherry liqueur, lifted by cleansing mint chocolate.
