Description

This is a 25 year old GlenDronach, released as part of their 12th batch of single cask bottlings. The whisky was placed into cask #1375, a Pedro Ximénez Sherry puncheon, in August 1990 and eventually bottled in August 2015 at cask strength - 51.6% ABV. 656 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Robust notes of espresso and Sherried fruit, with a subtle waft of floral oak.

Palate

Lots of vanilla and chewy raisin, with oak-y warmth appearing clear on the mid-palate.

Finish

Old leather hints last.
