Description
This single cask Glendronach spent a 20 year maturation in a Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon (cask 3183), before being bottled in 2012.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Christmas cake with almonds and a dusting of nutmeg. Rich mocha, rum.
Palate
Sultanas, chewy honey, dark chocolate, brandy butter.
Finish
Dried fruit, latte and light spices. Splendid.
Overall
Another excellent sherried whisky from Glendronach.
