Description
The 12 batch of GlenDronach's single casks have arrived! This one is a 19 year old single malt, matured in cask #3806 (a Pedro Ximénez Sherry puncheon) from September 1995 to August 2015, when it was bottled at 54.5% ABV. 701 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sugared almonds, chewy raisins and a touch of chilli chocolate.
Palate
Lots more chocolate here, with simmering spices alongside. It shows off its oak-y character here too.
Finish
Cinnamon spices persist.
