A really phenomenal Glendronach, distilled in 1993 and aged for 19 years in an Oloroso sherry but (cask 536) before bottling at natural cask strength. This is a release of just 596 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Hazelnut and cocoa greet the nostrils, with golden syrup and rum spice developing. More than a hint of walnut and dates.
Palate
Cooked banana and Cognac, hints of rancio and chocolate malt, apple wood, blossom and charred oak.
Finish
Intense and rich with notes of pepper and charcoal.
