Glencadam 15 Year Old Reviews

Awesome stuff

From what I've heard, apparently Jim McEwan's favorite whisky. And I can really undersrand why. Great fruit, great balance and structure. If the best white wine was a whisky, it would be Glencadam.

decent nothing special

It's not bad, kinda sweet typical Highland Scotch will enjoy this bottle but probably would not buy again for the price, not much better than an average 12 yr

A bottle of this and a lovely lady is the perfect recipe for a perfect night in. Believe me!

Very grassy nose with notes of cherry and a rather oaty finish. One of my personal favourites.

This is really good

Very nice dram. Very complex and different. Nose of hay/grass and the oak is prominent with sweetness. The palet is much like the nose but more in a saw-dust direction. Medium to long finish that develops very pleasantly. Gotta try the 10y also!

Interesting

Enjoyed the sample very much. It was sweeter than I was expecting, with notes of bitter cherry and dark chocolate. Not quite my favourite style - I tend to prefer Islay - but very balanced and enjoyable.
