From the Cask Strength Collection by Signatory comes a vintage 1995 Glenburgie single malt. It was matured for 28 years in a bourbon hogshead and then bottled without chill-filtration or additional colouring.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Creamy and floral with vanilla, caramel, dried orange, lavender, and baking spice.

Palate Rich honey and vanilla, juicy apricots, ginger, and sultanas.

Finish Drying and long.

Fine
Fine, and very nice. Lots of barley and pears. For me, though, it doesn’t taste so different to 21 year olds from the same kind of producers (Glen Elgin, Glen Keith, etc.), so I’m not personally sure I’d have paid the extra in retrospect, but it’s still good whisky.
